Reunion (French: Réunion) is a French overseas island located in the midst of the Indian Ocean, 700 kilometers east of the island of Madagascar, and 200 kilometers South-West of Mauritius.
The island was previously known as île Bourbon.
This enchanting destination is blessed with a tropical climate and beautiful volcanic landscapes. It is an island, but its appeal comes less from sandy beaches than from mountain paths and formidable landscapes.
