Wuzhi Mountain

If you are looking for an adventure in nature, you should visit **Wuzhi Mountain** in Hainan, China. Wuzhi Mountain, or **Five Finger Mountain**, is the highest mountain on the island, with an altitude of 1,867 meters. It is even higher than Mt. Tai, one of the most famous mountains in China. Wuzhi Mountain is home to a rich biodiversity and a beautiful rainforest. You can see stunning waterfalls, rock formations, and canyons. You can also experience the culture and customs of the Li ethnic group, who live in the surrounding areas.

Shibao Mountain

A fantastic nature reserve and religious site that was one of the first to be officially protected by China in 1982. There are numerous temples and grottoes as well as some fantastic views and walks amongst the old forests. Shibaoshan covers a big mountain area with its main points of interest some times distant kilometers away. Arriving there by taxi it is advisable to ask the driver to take you to some of the further temples (he will not need to pay entrance ticket), as Baoxiang Temple.

Shizishan Scenic Area

If you are looking for a place to enjoy the beauty of nature and the culture of the Yi people, you should visit the Shizishan scenic area in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture. Shizishan, which means "Lion Mountain" in Chinese, is a natural wonder that resembles a lion's head from a distance. The scenic area covers an area of 30 square kilometers and has many attractions, such as the Lion's Mouth Cave, the Lion's Mane Waterfall, the Lion's Tail Lake, and the Lion's Roar Rock. You can also explore the ancient Yi villages, temples, and tombs that dot the mountain.

Nine Dragons Waterfall

If you love nature and waterfalls, you should definitely visit the Nine Dragons Waterfall in Qujing, Yunnan province. This amazing scenic spot is home to ten stunning waterfalls of different sizes and shapes, each with its own legend and charm. The largest one, called the No.1 Cascade of Jiulong, is 56 meters high and 110 meters wide, and looks like a giant arch of water crashing down from the sky. You can hear its thunderous roar from far away, and see rainbows forming in the mist.

Tengchong Volcano Park

Tengchong Volcano Park is located in the western parts of the Gaofenggong Mountains in the Hengduan Range. Lying at the edge of the Eurasian Plate, the cluster movement in this area is very active. The volcanoes were formed when lava, ashes and smoke were emitted during severe earthquakes.



Guanyi Village
